That's it everybody - Illidan himself is now history!
Just a few weeks after the introduction of new raid content, we have fully completed all of the TBC content. So long ago, when you started your characters.. when you killed Ragnaros.. when you killed Nefarion... did you ever think, "Some day, Illidan will die at my own hands"?
When we decided to merge our two wonderful guilds, we were making our way through Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep for the first times. But it was only in September of 2007 that we became one and consistently started achieving all the wonderful things that we have. in just seven months we have made new and closer friends with each other and basically, had a really great time of things. Some guilds work through the content faster than we did. Many do it slower. Most will never achieve what you have achieved tonight.
So I want to take the opportunity to give thanks. Thanks to all of you for making that merge work the first days, and being so open to guilding with each other. Thank you Gobo, and later Korgak, for leading the guild strongly and with perfect direction. Thank you class leaders and raid leaders for supporting them and keeping things running so impeccably smoothly. Thank you to all of our reliable, helpful and happy members, who consistently conquer all of the challenges set before them. And screw you rakoor.
Lets work through the new instance together just as well, and look forward to the new expansion. I hope we will see all of you still with us for that adventure.
Anyway, enough of the pride. The drops!

After a very smooth week, we managed to get 2 free days, with only new content avaible. Today we had our first attempts at the trash before the Illidari Council and the Council itself.

After we killed the boss we had a nice chat with Akama, the huggable wierdo. He told us to follow him and he brougt us to... The last bit of content there is: Illidan Stormrage!!

It has been quiet for far to long, so get ready for some PROGRESS spam!
First of all, this never made it onto the news page even though its quite a major event in genesis' history:
Our very first Bear Mount, meaning we succesfully completed the Zul'Aman time trial!
On the 15th of march (I think) Solana, our imba paladin class leader, looted his Amani War Bear!
Very awesome job to everyone who contributed to this run and the once before that, Solana finally got rewarded for it!
Moving onto the more recent progress tonight genesis has finally overcome the biggest challenge in the Black temple. After some minor wipes and some tactic dicussion, Reliquary of Souls went down easily (well ... maybe not easily ... whocares its dead!)

The Wavemender's Mantle- won by Tubo!
Since we were filled with adrenaline from getting past this major milestone we pressed on towards Mother Shazrah. On our way we had some very intresting encounters envolving harems, hookahs, dildos and finally a shemale mob :o
The Mother Shazrah fight was pretty hard ... Coul got oneshotted on the pull twice in a row! Then we made one adjustment and downed her on the first try that lasted more than a second. HURRAY for easy epix!

First night of attempts on Gorefiend, and he is down!
I wasn't in the raid so I can't say what dropped, but who else is gonna make news posts around here? 
Grats to you all, but a special well done to those of you who had top-notch control of your ghosts! Try and help those who were less imba next raid!

25 intrepid citizens of Korgakistan braved the Black Temple last night.
Turns out that "Akman" more resembles a soggy noodle than steel, cabbage, or meat. So now you know.
He dropped:
Myrmidon's Treads- won by meeeeeeee!
Blind-Seer's Icon- don't know who won this, was too busy drooling over the above.
At the beginning he seemed a bit tricky, but then Shame sorted out the tactics and he truly was like chess event. Nerf you!

Well done everyone for getting the first two down!
Najentus was a little tricky to get the knack of, but Supremus has the most misleading name of any boss in any game. Ever.
Make me happy and respond with loots and screenies, you know you want to.
